David Waldon has competed sporadically since 1993, destroying an RX-2, a Charade, and a 4WD Laser along the way. A year in the co-drivers seat in 1996 earned him the ARC N1 Championship, but the drivers calling was strong, and a 4WD was purchased in 1997.  Several close attempts at the state series over the last few years culminated with outright victory in 2006 & 2007.

Plenty of gravel and tarmac experience, including many official duties, means that off-road excursions are less frequent (but still bloody expensive).

Ross Ferguson has competed since the dawn of time, riding with all manner of wild and enthusiastic drivers at ARC and state levels, on both tarmac and gravel. He most recently braved the wild V8 Commodore of Tim Rose with much success in the 2WD championship, and competed in the very quick EVO of state contender Rob Stoneman in the classic Rally Tasmania tarmac rally.

Ross was seconded to Team DWR halfway thru 2005 when former co-driver David Catt got scared (not really), and moved north to Townsville. David Catt did return for Targa Tasmania 2008 for a successful podium place in the rookye rally but then he ran away again.

Apart from success in the Tasmanian Rally Series DWR have also successfully competed in  Australian Rally Championship events and also on the tarmac in Rally Tasmania & Targa Tasmania.
